“To be honest, I didn’t plan on writing a book much less starting a publishing company. I simply wanted to make sure this generation didn’t have to wait until they were my age to know the things I know about Father God and His Kingdom. I wrote my first book in early mornings and late nights so that I could spend time with my family.  The further I got in the process of writing, the more I realized how difficult it might be to share the revelation I had with children because of the hoops I had to jump through to get my book published as well as start a company. Garden Publishing Company was established in 2011 in hopes that you will benefit from what I’ve learned and poured into this process. Jump from my shoulders and release revelation to those who will jump from yours.”

Garden Publishing Company & Above The La blog

Check out the blog: Why name it Above The La? Well, simply put, anything good you see from me comes from above. One of my dear sisters tagged me with “Lala” before she could walk and that’s who I’ve been since. Six years ago I went on a trek out in the pasture. I asked Jesus about how we could get the revelation He’d given me into the hands of others. My life was transformed by experiencing “the more” of Christianity in a radical way. I wanted everyone, especially children, to know this supernatural lifestyle. I wanted everyone to see the signs, wonders and miracles I get to see regularly. What started as a lesson for a children’s ministry grew into a book and then a company! Whoa. Didn’t see that coming. Spirit Filled Christian Blog Here I am, years later with my precious husband of 20 plus years, four kids, a close-knit extended family, dogs, cats, chickens and a wild ride of a life. I didn’t set out to marry a rancher, be an ordained minister, part-time missionary, ukulele strummer, runner, campout founder, author, publisher, etc. Yet, here I am. Jesus moved my heart years ago to surrender to His love, and a one sentence prayer changed everything. “I don’t have much, but I’m available if you will use me.” One of my favorite names for Holy Spirit is my co-conspirator. He’s the love of my life and my best friend in this adventure story my Father wrote for me. The goal of my life, and consequently this blog, is to know Him intimately and equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Demystifying the reality of the spiritual realm in which we live has changed so much for me. Therefore, I co-labor with the lover of my soul to see His inheritance walking now in the revelation of His love and Kingdom. Got a question? A comment? Something to say? Bring it on. Really. Thanks so much for your time and joining me on this adventure.

What is Laying on of Hands?
Laying on of Hands is a basic principle of the Christian Life. When we lay our hands on someone it can bring healing, transfer authority, impart spiritual gifts and simply bless them.

Acts 13:3
Then, having _______ and prayed, and ______ hands on them, they sent them away.
Mark 16:17-18
And these _________ will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new __________; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by nomeans ______ them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will __________.
I Timothy 4:14
Do not __________ the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the _________ of the eldership.
What are 3 things laying on of hands can accomplish?

Pray Aloud
Father, I thank You in Jesus’ name for the supernatural practice of laying on of hands. I ask You to teach me more about it. I also ask You to bring into my life someone who longs to impart spiritual blessings
and gifts into my life.
